The National Coalition for Public School Options (NCPSO) state award winners have been posted and the voting has just gone live - click here to take a look and to learn more about Idaho’s own Erica Haynes. Erica is a high-school social studies teacher at the Idaho Virtual Academy. Those who nominated her comment on her dedication to her students and her ability to make classroom time fun. She engages students both inside and outside the classroom, leading a camping trip for students every fall and setting aside time to know the students personally. This personal attention allows her to help students identify and reach goals.
Now is the time to start informing people so they can vote and alert others. The deadline for voting is this Sunday evening, May 3rd, at 5pm ET.
