Charter School Day at the Capitol is Just Around the Corner!
January 7, 2010

Join us at the Capitol on Monday, January 18, 2010!

Charter School and educational choice advocates will be gathering in Boise on Monday, January 18, 2010 to show legislators the widespread support for, and success of, charter schools in Idaho.

School choice opponents are urging the legislature to BAN the creation of any new charter schools in this year's law-making session!

Charter school supporters advocate that the cap limiting the growth of charters schools should be eliminated.  Bring your charter school students and join others in delivering the message that school choice should be EXPANDED, not limited!

Register for Charter School Day at the Capitol now!

The future of educational choice and innovation is at stake...Legislators need to see your face and hear your story about how charter schools are the best choice for you and your child.

The Charter School Day at the Capitol begins at 10:00 am at Boise Centre on the Grove with presentations on the history of charter schools in Idaho, tips on talking to your legislators, and how to utilize public relations strategies for your schools.  Activities for the students will run concurrently.

FREE pizza lunch for all participants will be provided.  Then we will march to the Capitol and hold a Charter School Rally on the steps of the Capitol at 1:00 PM.

Tours of the newly remodeled Capitol building are available.  Bring your students and be one of the first Idahoans to see the new Capitol!

Please join us! Register today and plan to attend and make your voice heard in the battle for the future of Idaho's public charter schools!
